There’s no magic exercise for power (here’s why)
Power isn’t variety. It’s strength × speed — done properly.

Hey mate,
Let’s talk about power.
Because this question comes up all the time:
“What’s the best exercise for power?”
“Should I add more single-leg work?”
“Is box squatting enough?”
Here’s the truth 👇
Power isn’t about exercises
Power is determined by two things:
Strength × Speed
That’s it.
Heavy lifts build force.
Low-load, explosive lifts build speed.
When you train both — with intent — power improves.
Where players go wrong
They chase novelty.
New exercises.
New variations.
New “fixes”.
But constantly changing movements actually slows progress, because your body never gets enough exposure to adapt.
Low load doesn’t mean easy.
Explosive doesn’t mean random.
Intent matters more than variety.
The exercises only work if you:
Keep them consistent
Load them correctly
Move them fast

Train like a player,
